Mia Khalifa's Playboy channel has been removed after she aired her comments on the Israel Palestine conflict.

The lifestyle magazine popularised by the late Hugh Hefner has severed ties with the Instagram star following a series of tweets sent out regarding Hamas and the war in Israel. Attempting to access her Playboy page will lead to a "Not Found" notification.

Playboy released a statement regarding Mia's controversial statements, with the media personality and ex-adult star causing a stir with recent comments on the war. It is not just her employment at Playboy which has been affected.

A statement from Playboy has since branded Mia's words "disgusting and reprehensible".

The Playboy statement read: "We are writing today to let you know of our decision to terminate Playboy's relationship with Mia Khalifa, including deleting Mia's Playboy channel on our creator platform.

"At Playboy, we encourage free expression and constructive political debate, but we have a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech. We expect Mia to understand her words and actions have consequences."

The comments she made also prompted SiriusXM radio host Todd Shapiro to write Mia was "fired effective immediately" from her advisor role.

The sacking comes after Mia made a series of tweets, one of which read: "Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontal." Said tweet disgusted Shapiro, who fired Mia through X, formerly Twitter.

He quote-tweeted the post, and wrote: "This is such a horrendous tweet @miakhalifa. Consider yourself fired effective immediately. Simply disgusting. Beyond disgusting. Please evolve and become a better human being.

"The fact you are condoning death, rape, beatings and hostage taking is truly gross. No words can explain your ignorance. We need humans to come together, especially in the face of tragedy. I pray for you to become a better person. However, it clearly seems like it’s too late for you."

Mia had been hired as an advisor by the show earlier this year and aided "engagement activities". She added in another: "I can’t believe the Zionist apartheid regime is being brought down by guerrilla fighters in fake Gucci shirts – the biopics of these moments better reflect that."
