British stag and hen parties are "doing more to save the environment" than Rishi Sunak, a nightlife firm has claimed.<\/p>\n
Research from leading pre-nuptial party company Last Night of Freedom has revealed British tourists are taking on the challenge of battling climate change, leaving the Prime Minister and his government red-faced. Data analysed by the Tyneside-based organisation has shown stags and hens are increasingly choosing to celebrate in the UK rather than abroad.<\/p>\n
These changing habits could be responsible for saving almost 165,000 tonnes of CO2 every single year. Matt Mavir, the firm's managing director, said: "We are seeing an increasing number of our stag and hen bookings opting to stay in the UK for their celebrations, especially since the Covid pandemic.<\/p>\n

"Almost two-thirds of those booking group getaways are now choosing to stay in the UK and there are a host of reasons for that. It was almost 50\/50 just four years ago, and when the average stag or hen can have 10-15 people on them, it means that many fewer people are using carbon-intensive methods of travel like flying.<\/p>\n
