{"id":196263,"date":"2023-11-25T06:36:53","date_gmt":"2023-11-25T06:36:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tokenstalk.info\/?p=196263"},"modified":"2023-11-25T06:36:53","modified_gmt":"2023-11-25T06:36:53","slug":"human-remains-found-in-mount-martha-plane-crash-search","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tokenstalk.info\/world-news\/human-remains-found-in-mount-martha-plane-crash-search\/","title":{"rendered":"Human remains found in Mount Martha plane crash search"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Save articles for later<\/h3>\n<p>Add articles to your saved list and come back to them any time.<\/p>\n<p>Human remains have been found after a former military jet crashed into Port Phillip Bay near Mount Martha on Sunday afternoon with a pilot and cameraman on board.<\/p>\n<p>Victoria Police said on Wednesday morning they had discovered bodies inside the wreckage found off the shore of Mornington on Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/static.ffx.io\/images\/$zoom_0.394%2C$multiply_0.7725%2C$ratio_1.5%2C$width_756%2C$x_0%2C$y_0\/t_crop_custom\/q_86%2Cf_auto\/fe9f83378088aa962f93d5f6b27602e63b1ea27d\" height=\"390\" width=\"584\"><\/p>\n<p><span>Cameraman James Rose (left) and pilot Stephen Gale (right) were on board the plane that crashed on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are believed to be the missing occupants of the plane, a 56-year-old Brunswick man and a 30-year-old Surrey Hills man,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Gale, a pilot, engineer, inventor and aspiring filmmaker, and James Rose, a talented cameraman and drone operator, were reported missing after two light S-211 Marchetti planes collided mid-air about 12 kilometres west of Mount Martha, in Melbourne\u2019s south-east.<\/p>\n<p>Gale and Rose were filming for a documentary series that planned to teach people with no experience how to fly.<\/p>\n<p>The other plane involved in the collision landed safely at Essendon airport.
