RAYMOND Calvert became the UK's oldest dad with a woman younger than his six other children.<\/p>\n

The OAP became a father for the seventh time in 2010 when his son Jamie Rai was born to partner Charlotte – 54 years his junior.\u00a0<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

Charlotte was aged around 16 when she was first introduced to\u00a0Raymond, who has died.<\/p>\n

He told how he first met Charlotte during a three-year-long relationship with her mum.<\/p>\n

Their paths crossed occasionally, yet it was not until Charlotte became pals with daughter Denise, then aged 49, in 2000 that she became involved in his life again.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was a few years later until they first kissed at a pub and it \u201cfelt right\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Raymond\u00a0said: "I am the most fortunate man in the world. It makes me feel 10ft tall.<\/p>\n

"The baby was planned and I did not use Viagra or anything like that.<\/p>\n

"I didn't actually think at my age that it would be possible to have a child, but he's a beautiful little fella.<\/p>\n

"I feel blessed. I look at that baby and I think, 'He's so bloody healthy and good-looking, how did I make that'?\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cFor an older man, it's just amazing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love him to bits and I would give my life for the little guy.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He joked: \u201cSome people will say \u2018How do you manage to pull such a young bird?\u2019 And I just respond, \u2018You'd better ask my partner\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI've always had women 20 to 25 years younger than me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlotte, who left school with three A-levels and was on a childcare course before she fell pregnant, recalled the moment she realised she wanted a baby.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI realised it would be nice to have a baby\u00a0with Raymond. He has such a lot of nice qualities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former shop owner and market trader, whose lover, now 38, took his surname but never married him, passed away aged 91.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Charlotte and their son Jamie Rai, now aged 12, remain living in his cottage in Colne, Lancs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following his birth at 7lb 1oz,\u00a0Raymond\u00a0previously told The Sun: "Yes, you get some plonkers who tell me, 'You'll never see him grow up'. But we've no regrets at all."<\/p>\n

His family were left \u201cheartbroken\u201d after he passed away at Royal Preston Hospital on December 1 last year following a fall.<\/p>\n
