Early Ethereum ($ETH) advisor Steven Nerayoff, who is also a popular member of the $XRP community has recently said that he believes the price of XRP has \u201cno ceiling\u201d and agreed it could surpass the $100 mark.<\/p>\n
In a post shared on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Nerayoff responded to a user asking whether he believes XRP has a \u201cbright future\u201d and could see its price \u201cget above $10 possibly upto $100.,\u201d noting he believes that XRP\u2019s price \u201chas no ceiling if they achieve their objectives.\u201d<\/p>\n
Per Nerayoff the question is complex, but he believes that usually a lower XRP price \u201cwould make their offering more attractive,\u201d while fintech firm Ripple \u2013 a major player in the XRP space \u2013 is \u201cclearly the odds on favorite to win in a \u201cnetwork effects\u201d model.\u201d<\/p>\n
Once Ripple achieves that objective, he said, XRP must be used, at which point the cryptocurrency\u2019s price won\u2019t have a ceiling.<\/p>\n
Nerayoff went on to add that the US dollar has networks effects and is the global reserve currency, which means there is \u201cclearly no ceiling on the price of the dollar as it gets massively depreciated but the price becomes irrelevant, overshadowed by its required necessity.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that XRP could take the role of global reserve currency \u201cin part of whole,\u201d and suggested that Ripple may be being \u201cviciously & unfairly targeted\u201d because of its potential.<\/p>\n
