There are no words,&#8217; Kelli&#8217;s mum said.\u00a0<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/09\/23\/75254873-12500053-image-a-9_1694299827111.jpg\" height=\"634\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kelli Tyler, 35, announced her excitement about arriving at hospital on Facebook\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/09\/23\/75254865-12500053-image-a-7_1694299814150.jpg\" height=\"204\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>She shared a post with friends to let them know she was ready to give birth\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/10\/00\/75254877-12500053-The_mum_of_five_died_after_amniotic_fluid_leaked_into_her_blood_-a-5_1694300552250.jpg\" height=\"866\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The mum-of-five died after amniotic fluid leaked into her blood during birth<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/10\/00\/75254871-12500053-Her_beautiful_daughter_is_doing_well_and_is_being_cherished_by_h-a-6_1694300552304.jpg\" height=\"847\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Her beautiful daughter is doing well and is being cherished by her grandmother, Julie\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with KFor, Julie said doctors\u00a0worked tirelessly for two hours trying to revive Kelli but eventually had to accept she was gone.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The amniotic fluid got into Kelli&#8217;s bloodstream [and] she was losing blood more than she could take in,&#8217; she explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She would come around for a minute or so and she would code again.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It&#8217;s rare that it happens and almost always fatal, and in our case it was.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><span>Amniotic Fluid Embolism is one of the leading direct causes of maternal mortality in the United States.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>An amniotic fluid embolism (AFE) is when amniotic fluid gets into the bloodstream and causes a collapse of the heart and lungs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The second stage of AFE is disseminated intravascular coagulopathy, meaning your blood is failing to clot.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I can&#8217;t thank the doctors&#8217; team, the nurses&#8217; team enough, for what they did,&#8217; Julie said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/09\/23\/75255137-12500053-image-a-8_1694299819203.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kelli&#8217;s four other children, ages 16, 12, 11 and 9, are welcoming their little sister\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/09\/23\/75254869-12500053-image-a-11_1694300132549.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Jalie was taken away for special care but is eating lots and already very spoiled, her grandmother says<\/p>\n<p>She said the pain of losing a child is &#8216;indescribable&#8217; and feels like she&#8217;s lost a part of herself.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Walking down the hallway to the room where they were taking us [after]\u2026that was the longest walk of my life\u2026part of my heart&#8217;s gone,&#8217; she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While it will take time to identify any long-term effects, Kelli&#8217;s daughter, who has been named Jalie, is doing well and loves to eat.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She&#8217;s already spoiled. She&#8217;s our little chunky monkey and our tootsie roll.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We won&#8217;t know if she has any cognitive issues until she grows up some more.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She was sent to a nearby hospital for specialized help to hopefully prevent brain damage.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Julie is now going to be helping to take care of Kelli&#8217;s four other children as well,\u00a0ages 16, 12, 11 and 9.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A GoFundMe has been set up to help with finances for items including groceries, clothes, diapers and school needs as they try to move forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She was a beautiful person and so full of love. Now we&#8217;re going to carry on through her kids.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Jalie won&#8217;t get to know her mom in person but she&#8217;s gonna know her mom.
