Faces of the 44 children missing from their London homes this Christmas – do YOU recognise any of them?

Families across the capital will be preparing for their customary get-together on Christmas Day this year.

But for some, an empty chair at the festive dinner table will be a heart-breaking and constant reminder that a loved one is not there.

The charity Missing People is currently listing 44 children as missing in London this year 0 , with the youngest being 13 years old.

There are 36 boys on the list and eight girls on the list, with some who have not been seen since 1959, while others disappeared in 2023.

Statistics show that someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK and almost 170,000 people are reported missing every year – 70,000 of which are children (41%).

The charity said: ‘Most of the people who are reported missing may be experiencing some kind of vulnerability or risk. This can be exacerbated by being missing, particularly where someone goes missing more than once’.
