Shocking moment Ring doorbell camera captures toddler stealing package from a porch before running to mother pushing stroller

• Norman said that she saw them run to a female that had a stroller before they fled 

This is the shocking moment a toddler was caught stealing a package from a family’s front porch before running back to their mother and fleeing.

The incident was captured on Jasmin Norman’s Ring doorbell camera outside her home in West Price Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday night. 

Around 11.58pm, Norman got a notification that her security camera had gone off, and when she checked it she watched as the young child snatch her Amazon package and scurried off. 

Norman told Fox 19: ‘You’re coaching a child… a baby, to take from others at such a young age. Where are your morals?’ 

By the time Norman made it to the front door, the child had ran to a woman pushing a stroller and together they left the scene.

Norman said that this is not the first time that a package pirate has taken from her front porch and that she plans to get a post office box for her family now 

The video starts as the toddler, wearing a blue skirt, pink tights, and white winter jacket walks up Norman’s front porch alone.

Once they make it to the top of the steps, the child bends down and grabs the Amazon package from the foot of the door. 

The toddler then turns around, walks down the steps slowly, and then rushes off when they reach the bottom. 

Footage did not capture the child running to a female with a stroller, but Norman said that she saw that on her own. 

‘I see what looks to be a mother walking with a stroller, and the baby running up to the lady pushing the stroller and just kept on about her day. It’s very uncomfortable,’ Norman said. 

Norman revealed that the package was supposed to be a surprise Christmas gift to her from her husband. She also said that this is the second instance that a package has been stolen off her front porch. 

Her and her family have now thought about leaving the neighborhood, even though they moved there just three months ago. 

‘I’m shocked that I can’t feel comfortable to receive a package or potentially any other mail to my home because others feel free to take it,’ Norman said.

‘I hope that baby gets help more than the adult. With the way that child is being coached and led right now, that child does not have a bright future,’ Norman said

Besides feeling frustrated and baffled by the bizarre moment, Norman is confused how a mother could teach their toddler to do such a thing.

Norman went on to report the theft to the Cincinnati Police Department who are investigating the situation. She can’t report her stolen package to Amazon until Monday. 

West Price Hill has a population of 22,898 and is located in Hamilton County. Many residents own their homes in the suburban neighborhood, according to Niche. 

A neighborhood crime report from the Cincinnati Police Department revealed that in the past 28 days,  there have been 59 robberies and 395 reported cases of theft in the city.

According to ADT, an estimated 36 percent of Americans have has a package stolen from outside their home at least once. 

Since the incident, Norman has been left with a feeling of distress and said that her family will be getting a post office box for future packages to be delivered to. 

‘I just want that mother or the adult who had that child to know I will pray for you,’ she said. 

‘In the world that we’re in today, that’s very sickening and disgusting and sad to say.’ 

Norman went on to report the theft to the Cincinnati Police Department who are investigating the situation

Kensley Mott, 32, was caught on camera as she stole Amazon packages from multiple homes on Monday afternoon in Winter Haven, Florida

On Monday afternoon, a 32-year-old Winter Haven, Florida porch pirate was caught on camera as she stole packages from multiple homes after she allegedly followed an Amazon truck.

The suspect, Kensley Mott, was arrested after surveillance footage captured her allegedly walking up to the porch, taking numerous Amazon boxes, and loading them into a red truck.

Mott then admitted that she planned to ‘re-gift’ the stolen packages for gifts.

She was booked into the Sheriff’s Office’s jail on charges of grand theft, felony petit theft, and two counts of burglary of a dwelling.
