President Trump on Friday got more buzz on social media for his hair color — a shade somewhere between gray and white — than his latest news on the coronavirus vaccine.
The president’s signature do — a blonde combover — appears to have faded to a natural tint of gray and white in his first public appearance since the 2020 election was called in favor of Joe Biden.
Trump, speaking about the coronavirus vaccine Friday, didn’t mention his fading locks — which he has shown previously — but social media users were quick to point out his new style.
“Is it me or has Trump’s hair gone from blonde to grey this week? Sad,” one Twitter user wrote.
“We need to talk about how Trump’s hair colourist bailed out on him,” another added.
“Anybody wanna talk about how Trump’s hair is suddenly white as a sheet of paper???” added another Twitter user.
“Trump’s hair has literally gone grey in a week,” another person wrote.
Trump’s hair has been a signature for the president since he rose to fame as a real estate developer in New York decades ago.
The New York Times recently reported that Trump took $70,000 in tax deductions for hair care while he was host of “The Apprentice” on NBC in the early 2000s.
