Dinner Lady Vape factory engulfed by huge fire and 'melts' as choking smoke fills town and locals told to shut windows | The Sun
FIREFIGHTERS are urging Blackburn residents to keep their windows closed as they battle a huge blaze at a vape factory.
The Dinner Lady vape factory in Shadsworth Business Park went up in flames at roughly 8.30pm this evening.
Several fire engines are now at the scene as emergency services battle to get the blaze under control.
Photos show huge black plumes of smoke across the sky.
Nobody is believed to have been injured.
One witness told Lancashire Live: "The whole factory seems to have completely melted. I've never seen anything like it."
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We are receiving multiple calls about a building fire in Blackburn.
“We have 8 fire engines at the scene, just off Haslingden Road, Blackburn.
“If you can see or smell smoke, please close windows and doors."
Dinner Lady sell vapes "for beginners trying to quit smoking", according to their website.
