Hitting the pool one final time in 2021? Labor Day is shaping up to be your day for a swim, with temperatures climbing back into the 90s.
According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will be cooler again on Friday. The work week ends with a high of 82 downtown and a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon into the evening. Denver’s low temperature will dip to 56 degrees overnight.
Forecasters warn that a few storms may become severe over the plains Friday, producing hail up to quarter size and damaging wind gusts to 60 mph.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) says that Denver’s air quality will be good on Friday.
Denver weather forecasters say Saturday should be clearer, with only a 10% chance of storms. Denver will top out at 82 degrees and drop to 55 degrees overnight.
Sunday will be sunny with a high of 86 degrees and a low of 56 degrees.
Monday should be clear with a high of 92 degrees — your best bet this weekend for a pool day, as most neighborhood pools get set to close for the season.
