Briton 'gang raped by Israelis' in Cyprus 'was dragged' into hotel
EXCLUSIVE: British woman, 20, ‘gang raped by five Israelis’ in Cyprus ‘was forcefully dragged’ into hotel room and has injuries consistent with an attack
- British woman was allegedly attacked by Israeli men at Fedrania Gardens Hotel
A British girl who says she was gang raped by five Israeli men while on holiday in Cyprus has ‘bruises and injuries’ consistent with an attack, a leaked report has revealed.
The 20-year-old woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, reported to authorities that he had been targeted last Sunday while in the party resort of Ayia Napa.
Police immediately rounded up the five suspects after the woman had made a ‘concise and detailed’ complaint and officers also spoke with her friends.
The case bears a harrowing similarity to one in the same report in 2019 and also involving a British girl who was gang raped by a group of Israelis.
They were initially rounded up and later released with the victim from Derbyshire astonishingly being charged and later convicted with wasting police time.
However, she later won her case on appeal and the offence was overturned on appeal by the Cyprus supreme Court after the story made headlines around the world.
In the latest case, the MailOnline can exclusively reveal the incident took place at the three-star Fedrania Gardens Hotel after the girl was invited to a party there as she was staying elsewhere.

The leaked report details her injury – including grip marks – and adds who she told police she was ‘forcefully dragged’ to a room at the hotel and attacked by the group.
Officers are expected to examine CCTV from the hotel to verify her claims and a source said they would be keen to avoid any accusations of ‘brushing it under the carpet’.
Sheets and clothing the girl and the group were wearing have been sent for forensic examination as part of the investigation.
In her account the woman said: ‘At a certain point, they approached me and started flirting with me.’
She goes on to say that two went up to a room with her where she was assaulted, and others followed her and she immediately reported the incident to hotel security staff.
The group – who are all Arab-Israelis from the town of Majd-al Krum, ten miles from Acre – deny any wrong doing and insist the sexual encounter was consensual.
The case bears a harrowing similarity to one in the same report in 2019 and also involving a British girl who was gang raped by a group of Israelis. Some of the seven male Israeli tourists arrive to appear before Famagusta District Court in Paralimni, Cyprus, 26 July 2019
Their lawyer, who also represented the previous group, Nir Yaslovitz, said:’The case is only the preliminary investigation stage, and at this point, I suggest we maintain composure before jumping to conclusions.
‘I intend to do everything in my power to secure their release from custody.’
The men alleged between 19-20 years old have been remanded until a further hearing next week.
A receptionist at the Fedrania Gardens told MailOnline: ‘We are not allowed to say anything. The girl wasn’t staying here that’s all I can say.’
In an interview with The Jerusalem Post, the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel executive director Orit Sulitzeanu said news of the suspected incident is part of a series of cases of group sexual abuse, which often involves filming of the event.
She said:’This case is a warning for Israeli society because this is not an isolated case, but rather a dangerous phenomenon of group sexual abuse is developing here as part of the culture of recreation abroad, as happened in 2019 in Ayia Napa, about a month ago in Rhodes and in 2019 in Crete.
‘The education system in Israel has a critical role in educating the youth for healthy sexuality and preventing sexual harm, to discuss what constitutes consent and, of course, the issue of photographing and distributing videos, which constitute a criminal offense.’
