Brit among two dead after bus plunges 49ft into ravine in Montenegro mountains | The Sun
A BRIT has been killed after a tourist bus plunged 49ft into a ravine in Montenegro.
At least two people – the unnamed Brit and an unidentified woman – died after the bus carrying 30 passengers swerved on a steep road.
The bus had been driving from the town of Budva on the Adriatic Sea coast to Cetinje, an inland mountainous region.
Nine people were seriously injured – with one fighting for their life, medics said.
Pictures from the scene showed rescue workers holding onto a metal wire to try to reach the wreckage.
Terrified passengers screamed as the bus skidded some 49ft down into the ravine at around 12pm local time on Tuesday.
